Most things, you do NOT need antibiotics. And increasing 'resistance' to treatments, Human and Animal.

Pharmacists are more than just people who work in a chemists shop.  They have pretty impressive qualifications and, I'd say, they are as capable as most GPs as far as prescribing medicines for most common illnesses.

Last Hussar. Had that reply to last 3-5 submitted meter readings! Dunno what they will do when Mechanical meter goes 'Over the Clock' ! Have asked, but reply was, "Its OK"! lol.

I've put my last order* for Ottomans in with Pendraken, and hopefully it will arrive soon and I can get painting. In the meanwhile, I've started  (re-started) my WSS with two completely made up countries. I have picked the Earldom of the Isles and the Dukedom of the Mountains as the antagonists. The Earl, being a man of the sea, has picked blue as his colour, and includes a couple of battalions of marines in his order of battle. The Duke who (has been Frenchified and like to be called "le Duc") is less formal about his uniform code, but tends to favour green. The Duchess likes purple, so the Duchess Guards are not happy.

With all this being said, with a total of 19 battalions of infantry, 21 squadrons of horse, 10 of dragoons and 2 of cuirassiers, with 7 batteries of artillery of various grades ... the first thing I painted was the supply train for  the Earl.

I didn't remember that I'd bought so many wagons, but think the could be useful in many periods, and yes, I have the same for the Duke.

With that out the way, I painted a squadron of the Earl's dragoons, and one of their precious batteries of artillery.

I do like the black and blue artillery pieces. I'm putting the dragoons in a lighter blue with 15 mounted figures. There's also the option for the plebs to dismount giving 9 skirmishers and 3 horse holders.

*This will be the third "last order"**, but I had a change of heart and decided each Orta needed to have their kettle, so neeeeeded to order some more command units.
** I've had more "last orders" than my local pub.

Quote from: Last Hussar on 18 May 2023, 04:48:32 PMMoving tomorrow, so I have just submitted my final meter readings for gas and electricity.  I haven't done so since February,  and I've used £30 less than they estimated. In fact I used so little the website actually asked me "are you sure that's right?"

Hope all went ok. See you at the multiplayer night at Sunjesters.

I don't have any gas*, and the gas company is trying to charge me £70 for 1 day, and not admitting I am also £190 in credit.
They know about Northern Road,  they can't get into their heads that I can use that for the new place.

*It's capped, but no one seems to know why.

So Octopus repaid the credit at the same time saying I owed them on the new place!

So I've just paid them with the money they repaid.

Yes but if we still had the Electricity Board and the Gas Board. Each would have insisted that you pay for the new place before your moved in.

Then when you moved in it would take them a week to get your supply connected.

They would then have taken 8 weeks to refund your credit, whilst still issuing you with a monthly bill to pay.

No, but I did do some work at a council where one of the employees was called Endicott. I really wish I had been a manager there just for the end of year appraisals.

Serious post (it does happen)
I was/am due a furniture delivery by Tuffnalls for an item bought at B&Q.

Does anybody know where I should be contacting. I know roughly the consumer law, I'm not worried by that at the moment, I want a way to chase my delivery.
