Bonsoir mon ami from a German guy living in UK. I lived near Bitche just across the border.

Hi
Welcome to the lunatic asylum

Seb

I think a German telling a Frenchman he is just across the border could be deemed a threat ?  :D :D

LMAO, maybe a few years back but nowadays the daily german pilgrimage to the french supermarkets (baguette, croissant, Volvic and gasoline) is a legal invasion.

France has attacked her neighbours a lot more than they have attacked her, if you look at the last millenium.

True..
Not that our ancestors would ever even think of expanding our Empire. (Ahem !!) ;) ;D ;D ;D

My great and good country managed to arrange most of the disadvantages of a major war without even the bad excuses of expanding frontiers or uniting the people in the face of common danger.

I wondered why he was singing "Two World Cups and One World Pope"

QuoteI think a German telling a Frenchman he is just across the border could be deemed a threat ?

In the immortal words of Henning Wehn.

"Why did my Grandfather cross the road?  To invade France."

"You British, always going on about the War.  Well, 3rd time lucky."
[Audience laugh]
"You laugh now..."
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
