Very neat. And the coloured spirals on the flag-staff are particulaly well done.  8)

I'm going to be doing the 1866 period first. I'm putting mine on the 60mmx30mm bases so I can use them with 1866, Polemos, Black Powder. Will post photos on Photobucket when I have some French (for 1870) based up on the new 60mm frontages.

OMG - now I've seen Andreas' Union troops I'm considering 40x20mm. They look great! Could still use that system with the above rule sets, especially 1859, 1866 and 1870. Will try both types to see which I prefer.

3 x 40mm by 30s would be my best bet, command in the middle.
