I fear my post may have given the misleading impression that I speak from personal experience of enjoying the favours of Miss Berry while Mozart serenaded us. This is not in fact the case.

Mozart wasn't available; we had to hire Schubert.

You'd have been better off with Liszt or Chopin - both brilliant pianists. That's always supposing you actually wanted them to play the piano, of course.

Have to take what you can get, I'm afraid.

Personally, I would be more than satisfied if Miss Berry would to playing the meathorn... :D

It would be slightly disappointing when Ms Berry turns and says "My, what a magnificent pianist..." and you realise she's not referring to you...  ;D

Well, I'm more a baroque than classical fan. I'll hire Bach next time, and she can say "What an organ!"

I left the unit at 11pm last night to a complete white out, we must have had about 3 inches worth of snow in an hour.  It's cleared up a lot today though, so with temperatures set to rise, it should be all gone by next weekend.  (I hope so, can't be doing with unloading the van at York in the snow again!)

Ours has all but gone !!....Hoo blanking- Ray. ;D ;D ;D
Oodles of fun the night before last, when it was heaving down with rain.....melting most of the snow.
The road was 'in spate'....So I was out clearing the drains.
Also digging a quick ditch behind our big barn to divert the water from getting in there.....At 10:30 in the evening, with a head torch on.
Last night more downpours....along with 'thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightening, me'

I'm pooped !  :P

Cheers - Phil.
