Thanks everybody. I’m now working on getting my Union Infantry firing based. Hopefully I will have some photos of them soon.

May I ... dare I make a suggestion ? The faces and hands are all a flat 'flesh' colour, you can really lift the look of the unit and give it added depth by putting a wipe of slightly darker pink accoss the backs of the hands and the faces, would take you 5 minutes literally and the results are really worth it. I then finish by putting a wipe of Army Painter over them but thats a matter of taste, as is everything of course  ;)
Don't buy your daughters a pony, buy them heroin instead, its cheaper and ultimately less addictive.

When I first started this project I considered doing what you suggested. But I decided not to because the flat flesh is not as noticeable when you look at the figures in person.  The photographs really bring the flesh out.

OK I'm going to be a bore here, sorry, why don't you try it with one unit, if you don't see/like the difference no harm done, on the other hand ...
Did I say they look excellent BTW  ;)

If mine look half as good as these I shall be pleased  :D

What rules are you basing them too?
