Hi

I just saw that http://www.petersplanes.com/main%20index.htm has a Polikarpov I16 and a Blenheim Mk1 available but not shown on the website yet.

Cheers

Hi Grumpy,

I don't suppose you know where I can get a IMAM Ro.37 and/or He 45 in 1:144.

No unfortunately not, the closest I can come to them are the He 51 from Kampfllieger at Shapeways http://www.shapeways.com/model/702829/1-144-heinkel-he-51.html and the Peters Planes Ro 43. You could contact Kampfflieger though as he is bringing out more interwar aircraft to see if he is planning them.

Hi Grumps,

I've looked at Peter's Planes before and wondered, seeing that he operates out of Australia, if the shipping costs were not prohibitive. Have you dealt with him, and do you have an idea of how much charges might be?

Cheers.

When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

OK, as I suspected.  Time Pendraken starting filling an obvious 1:144 aircraft gap in the wargaming market, is it not?  :-)

I've only had convivial exchanges of email with Peters Planes but he seems to be pleasant and reasonable. He does this as a hobby, from his web page "Please note that I do this between working a full-time job as well as a family life." It's nice to know that he is drawn to anything not produced by other manufacturers.

Since I live in Australia as well I can't really comment on his international shipping charges  :). The best way would be to email him and ask. The wargamer standard I-16s are going for $5 Aust each (about 3.20 GBP), so you'd have to weigh the cost and shipping against other alternatives.

Cheers
