But seriously did you really find what seems to be basically a very nasty situation in which once person wishes a painful death on another, as expressed by your 'joke', funny?

Particularly on a friendly, light-hearted wargames forum open to public view, in which some forum members may have been through difficult divorces.

I for one didn't find you 'joke' at all friendly, and rather viciously unpleasant actually, so you taking offence when people point that out seems a somewhat churlish reaction to me.
