Says Mr Hopeless, who's spent around 4 hours over the last two days trying to get his new ipod to work. ...Eventually finding out by reading REAMS of stuff...following links...round and around..... ........

That I hadn't pushed the little plugs in properly.

Yup !...But what I still don't understand is if the sodding thing was charging up all right from the PC.... the PC didn't recognize the fact that it was connected, until I fiddled about with the plugs ?

Modern technology has the innate ability to drive me right round the bend.
