Thanks for the clarification, I was beginning to think it was an age thing.  :) :)

Thanks Phil, makes sense now

It's a useful little 'dodge'.......Don't use it that often....Especially on the smaller scale figures......But...

I'd done a pair of 'skinny fit jeans' on a 30mm figure.....But I didn't have time to start working on the little creases on it, before I packed up for the evening.
If I'd left it overnight, the putty would have cured as completely smooth 'leggings'.....Didn't want that....So..Off to the freezer.

Yes, folks.....Techno sometimes keeps bodies in the chest freezer, in the barn.  ;) ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil

Thanks. Mortem et Gloria seems very interesting. I had read somewhere in the net that it remains Fields of Glory, do you corroborate?

It has lots of the best bits of FoG, DBM, 6th and 7th, lush a few unique twists.
Si Hall was one of the FoG writers, so there are bound to be similarities.

Finished drybrushing some AWI bases and figures last night, ready to move onto their uniforms.

Back from the canals, so paint to figures this morning - completed two 3mm Union units, plus some equipment on 10mm WWI Belgians and more paint on the USS Tyler. Also have now taken delivery of some 1/144th planes and heavy guns from Shapeways to complement my Belgian set up - a Farman, a Taube and three Le Bagne guns.

A Rifle unit and Light Infantry unit finished this evening. As they are in hunting shirts, quite quick to paint (even for me), but a tad drab. The Line units in hunting shirts will be a bit more colourful, fingers crossed.

Flesh highlighted, hair painted and inked, and while I was at it, leather and woodwork painted and inked too.
Quite a big set of progress really.
Tomorrow should be hair highlights (perms and demi-waves), and metalwork and shield, and then 'notplaid'!
