12 dead marker for Late Romans finished tonight, just waiting for the first coat of varnish to dry before I sand and pva their bases.
Also made progress on the dragoons and generals for my LoA army, as I'm actually going to get to use them in November at Warfare!

More Prussian musketeers on the table (there are a lot of them, aren't there?). with the first of the Austrian heavy dragoons.

Whilst completing the second and third 3mm Union units, I popped some 10mm Van Dykk Belgian infantry up on the painting rods and made a start on them. They are pretty amazing, in the first 1914 uniform with shako. Detail similar to the MM FPW but not as brittle. Also made a start on the USS Tyler for Shiloh, plus a docking piece for Pittsburg landing.

Blast! Order of 10mm Chinese arrived today from Newlines, but for some reason there were only two crossbowmen, not the two packs I'd ordered. True, I've still got about half the SYW project to do, not to mention the town and folk of Dead Man's Knees (indeed, haven't got far with writing the rules either), but I like to be able to put the occasional tick next to "Jobs done".

Erm......Well...... :-[ :-[ :-[

I tried to sort out paulr's ITLSU 1917 thread this morning.... And was trying to put one your posts into the "A Tale of Four Gamers" thread.... Removing it from Paul's topic.
But I appear to have sent your post into the ether.
Looked on your personal profile, to see if I could see where the post had gone, by looking at "Show the most recent posts"......And saw the Birthday cake.  ;)
I'm sure Leon will find it.  :D

Of course I've got second sight....Didn't I tell you I have a brain, the size of a planet.

Cheers - Marvin

Finally finished basing up my AWI Continentals for use with HoW today. Priming tomorrow then on with the painting...

FierceKitty

Took a break from Age of Reason yesterday to add a new impi to my South African army. Today it's Prussian and Austrians again.

3mm Union flags - bit of a challenge. Belgian packs and shako markings (too small to do actual numbers).

Dragoons and Generals for LoA Anglodutch have hit the 'these are starting to look awesome' stage tonight. Many because hat trim, lace and cross belts done. Lots of gold on the generals and lots painting of buff.

Whereas other forum users are painting IN the buff!

Today (and probably for the next few as well) I will be assembling a dozen 28mm 4Ground WW2 buildings.

Can you get high on wood glue  :D
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

No you can't Nosher :D! Top tip, don't try to snort it ;).

Basic colour in bases last night, so drybrushing tonight, along with scenario details for this weeks game.

Nosher

So my 4 ground buildings didn't turn up till mid afternoon so not a great deal of progress - only 2 small terraced buildings completed.

Still, I did get a game in this morning.
