Take care

Well the road and stream problem has been solved for me by Michael at Supreme Littleness. He is going to supply me with very narrow MDF sections on which I can make roads and streams.

Too cold (and a little bit snowy) to varnish today, might as well start the next units, bows or bills? Choices... choices...

In the 48 minutes I had while the Amazing Mrs Denham took Rach to her gym lesson I base coated (six colours) inked (3 colours) 60 bills. I also added a cloak to a samurai general. And ate a banana! 🍌

Not bad.

Bills, Will, bills; the bow had pretty much had its day by 1513.

For 1513 I reckon that sounds about right. Next on the list some Landsknechts to take the fight to the French - come on you Spurs!

Just waiting for the order to arrive, 6 mdf cavalry bases needed and then I'll have a full Burgundian cavalry unit, oh, and 96 Landschernecks pike too!
Their first outing will be a competition with a minimum of 16 bases of cavalry, not including light horse, that's basically everything Henry had, all over priced and not brilliant kit!
Looks like my army will be more continental to start with, and Flodden later!
Tempted to do a sunken Mary Rose (just the mast heads) as a naval unit!

I like the look of that unit - 8 bases is a big unit, what rules are these for?

Did you like Lorraine Kelly's lessons from life? A nice bit of light reading while painting  :P

Fogr, mostly will be fielded as a 6, but 8s are a nasty hit.

I still don't get this 'waiting for the weather' to varnish. I just put my brush in the varnish and get on with it. It also means my painting desk has room for the new stuff.
