Reminds me, must pick up my father-in-law's birthday pressie from Argos tonight... mmm... the laminated book of dreams!

For those of you not from the UK, Argos is a catalogue shop.  :(

First game on new war-games table last night - 10mm SYW. I lost.

So the "new unit losing" rule also applies to tables :( ;D

O Dinas Powys

Always forget how busy February ends up being with two birthdays, half term and the visit from Gran for the annual school grandparent's day so cracking on with competition entries.  So far I'm making reasonable progress, just need to start basing some of them now before I reach the aforementioned speed-bumps!  :-SS

As an aside, hot-glued some macaroni into trunks for some sci-fi trees.  Just got to decide what colour the trunks are going to be before adding some gloriously red reindeer-moss foliage  :o @-)

Cheers!

Tudor for unit finished tonight, Demi lancers done, just need basing. Need to take photos of the two tanks I've painted for tomorrow's 15mm flames comp, keeping up the Kelly's Heroes theme!
Night all

Argives are done; time for the Theban bent brigade.

Thebans ready (still arguing about the great "straights in the military" issue), Plateans on their way....

All plans being scuppered by family at present :(. Just wish I had my own dedicated room to disappear to to paint, rather than wait until the kitchen is free...

How come the photo's not on this thread? I'm the white-bearded oik on the back left wearing a purple Liverpool Wargames Club polo.

Too wet and wild to varnish anything today! Have applied sand and pva to Demi lancers bases, and assembled a Taurian army for Warband...

Based up some wolf riders. Just need to find a suitable stone for the final base and then the Goblins are all sorted, bar the small task of painting them!

Techno

All but finished off the Dragonmen foot knights yesterday....Got to the very last one, right at the end of the day....... and spotted a silly little mistake. .....Which meant having to re-do a bit of 'former'.
That'll be properly set by now, so I can shape it how I want with the Dremmel...and then finish the wee chap.

Cheers - Phil.

Know how you feel!  Had an old friend visit over the weekend before he heads out to the orient in search of work.  Great to see him again, but it did put a stop to any painting...

A little bit of work on competition stuff yesterday, plus my sci-fi trees as and when.
