Just in case I've not painted enough cavalry, 10 extra stands started tonight with horse flesh done and inked. Then, being Samurai cavalry I had the armour basecoated on before I noticed the lancers have a back banner hole! Looking Gucci! Ink applied too....
Also base coated and inked the armour the riders and on 14 stands of ashugari.

Satin varnish drying, then can ink and highlight. May just get these Belgians done before going off on the canal boat next week.

Two more hours tonight, highlights of main colours (sleeves and trousers mostly) and flesh and wash done.

Started the penultimate code for the next Warband army. (Actually, I stuck some of the wee chaps on corks, last thing yesterday afternoon.)
Finished the tweaks & soldering 15 feeds on the last two codes. (Soldering feeds is a job that's a pain......But today it went really well.....Must be down to the extra arm I've stitched on.  )

Started prepping my desert rats earlier this week 

Evil crab-walkers and robo-soldiers primed and some base coated 

Having a wobble about how to base them now, was going to do squad bases, might go for 25mm round bases with a couple of figures then use sabot bases for squad type stuff 

Decisions, decisions...

Almost finished the next batch of Samurai, only about another week of details to do...

Busy day today on my WIP lancers. Reins highlighted, horses coats highlighted, riders hands done. whole lot took about 2 1/2 hours. May get the bamboo lances completed tonight.

Too tired to carry on, been a long week!!

Bamboo shafts, then Many many lines on bamboo weapon shafts done, bridles and bits done.
Flag mons, horse flashes, bronze work and tack details still to do...
