What scale? ;) 1:1?
Course it is, otherwise I'd be painting a metropolis. Incidentally, this model Eiffel Tower is Paris ....... yes, all of it, including Le Bourget. And these two figures are German 5th and 6th armies  ...... what?...... because I don't like pieces of card representing entire army corps. (Thanks to Stewart Lee)

Carried on with the final code of Wood Elves......And made a really 'good' (accidental) mistake whilst doing the shields.
Speeded-up their production a fair old bit.  :)

Also.....In future, I shouldn't break said shields while finishing them off, anymore. (That makes me SPIT !  >:()

12 bases of Warband undead undercoated, base coated and inked last night.
Twelve Mongol bases for the sand and PVA treatment too.

That'll be the entire population of Mongolia then, and that yurt is Ulan Bator.

Mongol bases painted, highlighted, edged and sealed.
Also added the first milliputt layer to the horse armour of 28 Mongol extra cavalry, about 4 hours work! Techno, Clib, Martin and Barbarian, I still don't know how you do it! How can one bit stick, and another disintegrate, from the same batch of putty!!!

8th Army land forces ready; two Spitfires on the agenda, and it'll be Rat and roll time...once I've done the Jerries, that is.

Got back to the painting table this evening, finally finishing off some Armies Army figures for the forthcoming Blast-Tastic show. Still plenty to paint but have a camo scheme I'm happy with so now a case of ploughing through the figures over the next few weeks.

O Dinas Powys

Started assembling and cleaning some of my Colours order  :D

Pictures MAY be forthcoming, but then again these may be kept under wraps for next years painting competition... :-$  ;)

Cheers!

Just a couple more hours tomorrow, once the putty has completely cured overnight, and the Wood Elves are done. #:-S

Cheers - Phil.

Done !

Photo to Leon......Started on the next army. :)
Most of the day spent mixing big lumps of putty to stick the first 3 codes, I've picked, onto corks...and then starting to ream lumps off the figures with the Dremmel.
One small code just about finished......Only had to do minimal repairs to those....Apart from one tiny bit that broke off ! X_X (Won't take long to fix that.)

Cheers - Phil

I hope  that was a figure and not you?
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Techno

No sculptors were harmed in the Dremmeling of these figures, Steve. (Yet)  ;)
