Thanks. Mortem et Gloria seems very interesting. I had read somewhere in the net that it remains Fields of Glory, do you corroborate?

It has lots of the best bits of FoG, DBM, 6th and 7th, lush a few unique twists.
Si Hall was one of the FoG writers, so there are bound to be similarities.

Finished drybrushing some AWI bases and figures last night, ready to move onto their uniforms.

Back from the canals, so paint to figures this morning - completed two 3mm Union units, plus some equipment on 10mm WWI Belgians and more paint on the USS Tyler. Also have now taken delivery of some 1/144th planes and heavy guns from Shapeways to complement my Belgian set up - a Farman, a Taube and three Le Bagne guns.

A Rifle unit and Light Infantry unit finished this evening. As they are in hunting shirts, quite quick to paint (even for me), but a tad drab. The Line units in hunting shirts will be a bit more colourful, fingers crossed.

Flesh highlighted, hair painted and inked, and while I was at it, leather and woodwork painted and inked too.
Quite a big set of progress really.
Tomorrow should be hair highlights (perms and demi-waves), and metalwork and shield, and then 'notplaid'!

Primed some Angel Barracks buildings ready for some work tonight. Speed is of the essence given they will be in action on Saturday!

Steve J

Good progress made on these buildings which should be finished tomorrow, all being well. Then on to checking the board layout etc to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.

Leman

More paint to the same three items as before, plus primed the next Union unit.

28mm WW2 Stummel and Horch with 2cm Flak portee painted today. I also got around to finishing some Panzergrenadiers and the crew of a Sdkfz251/10 which had been languishing in the box all for a huge game next Saturday.

As well as this painting, I finally got around to starting the basing and flocking of my 28mm WW2 US collection AND I assembled a Chain of Command/Warbases garden set including a potting shed and table, a compost bin and a cold box, a chicken coop and a conservatory. Along the way I also undercoated four jump off points for CoC and the last few odds and ends of my US (engineers etc)

Oh, and I assembled some BA2 pin markers.

In the next day or so I reckon I will be busy assembling loads of 28mm goodies which will be arriving from Warlord. An FJR boxed set, a 1000 point British Airborne Battlegroup, a StUG III (and commander), a 76mm Sherman and Crew, two Willy's Jeeps, an M8 and an M20.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Finally finished my RDF force for KR-16 and their debut at tomorrows Blast-tastic wargames show. Nothing like a deadline to focus the mind :D

Some days, I really don't know why I bother.

I lost count of the number of interruptions, that stopped me pushing putty around, today.
Lucky my blood pressure test is tomorrow.....If they'd taken it today, I'd have probably broken their machine.

(It was way, way too high, the last time I used our own machine.  X_X)

Cheers - Phil. (Flu-jab as well tomorrow. Can't wait !  =))
