I've been working on some trees over the past week. Many are a "bit" big for my Pendraken stuff although probably not that far off in scale terms. I will almost certainly be using some though as I made a whole range of sizes from about 10cm up to about 30cm height.

And the finished articles.

Altogether 30 trees, probably cost me around £20 to make (I'll be doing the maths properly as I'm tempted to make more of them and sell some) and personally I think they're every bit as good as Last Valley ones.

Good looking, what they made from?

They look great Gavin. Is that steel wool you've used for the tree canopy?

I may well do a "how to" although if I'm looking to sell these then I'm going to do myself out of money  ;D ;D

The trees are bits of twigs topped with rubberised horsehair suitably distressed and teased out of its block. Anyone wanting some and attending Partizan on Sunday pm me as I have lots spare (I ahve a local source) and I can sell you some seriously cheaper than Antenociti's etc. (I won't be there till the afternoon though as I'm at a Stag Do the day before) 8)

Ah, the old rubberised horsehair. Wire wool also works well - although surprisingly expensive considering it's a waste product.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
