Why dig her out if the arrangement is so convenient....

In that position?? Think again. It would be a truly Olympian feat to... um... oh, never mind...  @-)

At least the bar's still on - and why does she have a large hand pointing downwards (upwards) on her back?

Think we'll be seeing a lot more women beating each other up soon with gold in boxing and Tae kwondo last night!
If you didn't see the three finals including the Irish one, get onto Iplayer now, amazing!
Nearly 60% ofBritains medals have been won by women, the totty thread will be busy for months!

Not too interested in track and field but I can watch a fair bit of the rest. Handball really caught my eye though, still trying to work out the rules mind you.

I may be biased on this one given my involvement, but I can't wait to see the coverage of the Wheelchair Rugby during the Paralympics.

Handball .... Which I sometimes watch on certain streaming channels that shall remain nameless and downhill badminton which always impresses me
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

I was a bit like that, not a clue what was going on, but it looked cool.

Downhill badminton?  Is that anything like uphill gardening?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Personally I just wish they'd show more of the closing ceremony.
And move it closer (much closer) to the opening ceremony.

I could get into a long rant here but I won't - I know not being enthusiastic about the Olympic games is a losing proposition.

I enjoyed the velodrome, but was irritated by the BBC coverage.

Any race not including a Brit was rarely shown (unless a final) and they'd cut to the CBBC presenter asking gormless questions of Mark Cavendish. Although it was amusing that Cavendish was trying to watch the race going on behind him while this berk was talking. I want to watch the racing! Talk when there's nothing going on. It's not rocket science, is it?

Also stunned by the mountain-biking - never seen this before. Brilliant telly, lucky it wasn't damp or we'd have seen a lot of broken bones methinks . . .

Worst thing? The dancing horse thingy. This is a sport? Bloody hellfire.

Cheers, Martyn
