Hi Martin,

Was planning on using 1/600 air for Falklands because of unavailability of appropriate 1/144 but if you get enough requests, I'd love a Pucara or two in 1/144.

Thanks

Is there an argument for a model in true 1/150?   I appreciate that the 1/144 gauge has a wide following outside wargaming, and indeed most other Falklands aircraft will be in 1/144,  but with an item as big as an aircraft it jars a little with the AFVs that are true to scale.   I know because I no option but to buy/play with them.   Its like when you place a 12mm AFV next to a 10mm.

I have to say that if you can craft a neat model of a Pucara, there are quite a few OTHER gaps in theWW2 - modern market   Small attack/COIN aircraft  - I am thinking  Strikemaster, Hawk, T-28 (Vietnam), SA-3 Bulldog.- that would give the gamer that little bit of airpower needed to play a CWC/Bushwars  game.  Last year I had a commission for a Pendraken Storch Fi -156 in post war French mode (by Morane- Saulnier) for Indo-China. It is a really neat little model !
In such games, a light attack aircraft with smoke/600lb ordinance /one MG works very well .  Overkill by an F4  just kills the game
