Had a little terrier from 'over the road' chase one of our moggies up a bushy fir tree a few years ago.
The mutt got about 15 feet off the ground, with the cat clinging on to as near to the top of the tree it could go.
Mind you...The terrier was using the tree as a sort of spiral staircase, so it was cheating a bit.
Took ages to coax the cat down after the dog had gone.

No table is safe from a kitty with an attitude.

Never a truer word spoken, FK. I assume you're referring to the table's legs !.....What perfect substitutes for a scratching post.
I mean...Why is it ?.....Why ?....That even if the cats have a 'proper' scratching post.....They prefer to rip their claws down a piece of furniture.
