Hello guys! It's been a long time! I was occupied with projects in 28mm and now, I'm in holidays in Normandy at Colleville-Montgomery.

When I heard from Kieffer Commando, I just want to play them in Blitzkrieg! ^^

Wich miniatures can I use to play them, please?

I think (but I may be wrong!) that they used the commando uniform and equipment. So 'BR107 Commando's, mixed weapons' should do nicely? And maybe a landing craft to put them in? Maybe 'PS6 PS6 Landing craft infantry' (or would another one be better?)

I don't know any twentieth century codes, but if you are using Commandos consider dd Sherman tanks as these were the swimming tanks from dday, you can also have Royal Engineer crewed Centaurs, Sherman 'crab' flail tanks and the deadly 90mm howitzer avre churchill!

The commando figures are nice, but are only 2 poses :-( You can probably switch in some British in tin hats and probably a few Para officers in Beret. I don't think any of the Pendraken figures have as much kit as the Commandos carried on D-Day!

Lemmey's ideas about vehicles are far from mad! The DD Shermans are nice models

Though I think he has lost a 2 on the AVRE, IIRC it was a massive 290mm mortar on the AVRE

Ah yes, Flessingue/Flushing/Vlissingen. The amphibious assault on Walcheren. Another reason to get AVRE's and Crabs. And Buffaloes, ofcourse!
