Anybody doing Naps French got an opinion on which vallejo blues to use?
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

I'm not sure myself, I'll have to check the Vallejo rack and see what looks right.  I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along shortly though...  ;)

it depends on your primer and taste, I prefer dark prussian blue but prussian blue is good as well, it also depends on the color primer you use  dark prussian blue is good for grey and white as prussian blue is good for black since it doesnt darken as much .I personally dont use primer that much so I use dark prussian blue. :D

Postings elsewhere have suggested Ultramarine Blue and Sick Blue...

I use a black undercoat

Ermm, I just use any blue thats handy, but then again I've never felt too constrained by historical accuracy.

I use Dark Prussian  Blue Highlighted with Prussian Blue,I use white or gray primmer and they come out fine. Good Luck

If it helps at all, the original uniforms were dyed with indigo. However, like most vegetable dyes it was not particularly stable and tended to fade over time.  :-B

Given the ongoing discussion on the "complaint" thread, perhaps French blue might benefit from a tinge of yellow? :d.    I'll get my coat!
