What does your toilet paper say about you?

I used to have a flatmate who always took a newspaper into the toilet with him. I've just figured out why.

What I want to know is....
Did someone seriously do a study that 'proved'....Most men put the roll on the holder with the 'tear off' away from the wall (top left)...While women like the 'tear off' flush (excuse the pun) to the wall (top right).

I've seen studies done on the average number of peanuts in a Snickers, so I'd expect someone has...

It's used a lot [the thinking, not the toilet paper. Although that is used widely, of course  ]
