Very nicely done Arsenus - a wash on the base would add some further depth & definition  8)

Call me daft, but is the title 'Hordes of the Things' a play on words from Phil Barker (ie Lord of the Rings), or reference to a book or similar?

Direct reference to LotR it is. There is even a little poem on the inside cover: 'One die to rule them all, etc'. Then again, the rules mention 'a BBC radio serial of the same name', so it was used before?
