I couldn't agree more! I would buy a handful of them; they could patrol my mini-dungeon!

Expand the orc range is always interesting!

Have you got any pics so I can see what you mean?

Here are pictures of the old Minifigs Orcs. Maybe they're more of a boar than pig resemblance. Still quite charming in an orc-ish sort of way :D

Thank you for sharing your photos. I haven't seen those since the early 80s. Talk about memories...

I'm very jealous of your collection!

arundel

Oh, and Leon,

Those are exactly the look to go for!  ;D

sorry the out of topic, but all minifig were/are 10mm?

sgtpepper

I think the Minifigs orcs were 1/72 scale.

the range was 25mm but they were a bit heftier so would work well with modern 28mm

I like the ideas in the first two posts in this thread especially - i'd also like to see a foot and mounted good adventurers or heroes pack - and a foot and mounted evil adventurers or villians one, plus a neutral pack of foot and mounted mercenary characters.

Dunnadd

How about orc and goblin boar riders, with the goblin boar riders looking either like the old pre-slotta base citadel great goblins or night goblins or some mixture?

Also nomadic orc and goblin wolf riders in nomad style armour and weapons and clothing, as nomadic orcs or hobgoblins? - some archers, some spearmen - and some mounted orc and goblin Khan and shaman figures?

Dunnadd

How about tribal style wood-elves - some with spiked hair like ancient Celts - and some even wearing stag horn helmets.

These could include archers, spearmen and wardancer or fanatic style light armoured close combat fighters armed with a mixture of swords and spears.

Dunnadd

p.s if these ever get made i'd prefer them to be 10 - 12mm in height, so they fit in with my 10mm figures from other manufacturers. Some of the existing fantasy range (e.g hobgoblins and ratmen) are more like 15mm  - good for 15mm scale armies, but just don't fit in with 10mm ones.

Also they could include a mixture of humans and non-humans - e.g some ogres, orcs, goblins, half-orcs, elves, undead etc among them
