Anyone fancy a Batmobile!?

Want a Batmobile? Us too, but there's one catch: it'll cost you more than a large house.

Casey Putsch, of Putsch Racing, has listed the car on eBay in the US and wants $620,000 (£383,000) for his prized possession. The average house in the UK costs £228,095.

For the money you'll get an authentic replica of the Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton in the Tim Burton-directed 'Batman' film of 1989. Putsch claims his version is the "world's only turbine-powered bat car".

Built in his professional racing facility this year, the car also boasts a 365-horsepower Boeing turboshaft engine, a centrally mounted touch-screen iPad with 3G, and racing approved on-board halon fire extinguishing system (just in case).

In addition, Putsch is keen to stress that his creation is not just for show.  He says on the eBay page that "construction is in a completely different league than both replicas and of course the movie prop cars" and that it has a "perfect reliability record".

The vehicle also runs on jet, kerosene or diesel fuel, so pump mix-ups are unlikely.

And if driving Batman's car isn't quite prestigious enough for you, the eBay ad has a 'partial' list of media outlets to have featured the famous car, including Yahoo!, the Discovery Channel, BBC’s ‘Top Gear’, Wired, Gizmodo, ABC, NBC and FOX.

Not allowed. Selling one's cats is the unforgiveable breach of trust.

Haha, awesome!  So for a Batmobile, you'll shift the wife, kids and pets, and walk around without clothes, but there's no way you're selling the figures!?  I like it!

Dogs at moment: one German Shepherd [Yasmin, 7] - we lost Tess [11] in February this year; she's just been joined [Saturday] by Boltz - a 7 month-old Labrador / Springer cross [Chocolate colour] from the RSPCA in Exeter. And they're not really for sale - nor are the horses.

You can fecking take the cats for free though. I fecking hate cats. Evil incarnate.  :d
