Can anyone clarify if ME32 in WW1 Middle East range is indeed the Bristol F2B two seater fighter of 1917 ?

Any pics lurking away on any ancient threads ?

Yes it is, but I don't think I've got any pics of it laying around.

May sound silly but - Convex curve on top, ribs are on both sides....

I puchased some aircraft last year from Gem Railway models , and was taken by the simple instruction drawing with the whitemetal 1/148 kit.
Any chance of such instructions with the more complicated kits as Ian and Agtfos have highlighted ?

ps - when I mentioned Gem Railway Models on a thread last time, Nik Yarwood when instead to 'Gem Models' and ...got very excited.

Affirmative on the 'ribs up' answer.  We do want to provide some basic instructions for some of the codes, we were looking at doing video's for them, but I've no idea when we'll get chance to do them.

Sorry Nick, Fraudian slip of a typo. And many thanks for the image - its worth 1,000 words in the case for simple assembly instructions to be included with these multi part kits.  Nothing more flustrating than a box of  white metal bits ....that could be out there on the table winning a war !

Just to let all those soap opera fans amongst you that the Bristol Fighter touched down this morning - with the rest of my June Pendraken order.

My fingers are hard with super glue and 90% is ready from priming.

I have to say that I found the Pendraken Bristol Fighter is one of the simplest metal or indeed resin bi-planes in the 1/148 -1/150 - 1/144 scale range to put together.  And I have been working in this scale since 1999.

So treat yourself to a simple piece of inter war air power (the Bristol flew with the RAF until 1932) thus available for VBCW and inter war colonial actions.

The only fiddly bits are the wheels of the undercarriage - if you intend to play the model- as I do - then paint and add a strut of clear plasitic between the wheels to bear the load of the body.
