I'll take a lack of replies to this thread as a 'Yes!'   :D

PS, spare a thought for those of us stuck in garages burning our fingers on impossibly hot moulds...!   :P

My first real rest time for ages..
I must choose : go to paint these lovely figs (I'm very late in our SCW campaign),
or just sit beneath the tree in my garden, and reply to you...
Difficult choice...
I will take another beer to help me think about it....  :)

Just come in from some R&R in the garden, so that's a "Yes" from me 8). However, I have to go into work tomorrow for some or all of the day due to sheer volume of work :(.

This is my first "free" weekend in over a month.....

So I went for a 5 mile walk, then to coffee shop for drink and read of paper, then home to sit in garden and read a bit of Sharpe, then some actual gardening and finally painting some SYW Austrians before watching 'The Kennedys' on catchup. I do like Sundays and sun!

Work at 7.00am this morning but gave up by Midday so that I could spend some time with the family before another hectic week at work. A lovely afternoon in the sun reading D-Day by Anthony Beevor followed by Frisbee and Softball in the park with our son. Priceless :).

Blissful, isn't it? Up at 7am - dog out over hills, home for 8am & decent coffee in the sun on the decking...girls all gone by 8.15am - Isaac [aged 4] happily playing with his cars...

Read a load of Lovecraft [my bargain of last week: selected best for £11: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Necronomicon-Weird-Fiction-Lovecraft-Gollancz/dp/0575081562/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1302464923&sr=1-1 ], took some pics, then got cracking with this lot: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=2650.0

Now everyone's home - all tired, kids are thinking about bed [or is it that I'm thinking about them going to bed?], SWMBO & I are enjoying a drink - and I don't have to work tomorrow. Perfect. Simples.  8)

It's on the Mersey, about 15 miles inland from Liverpool, and its got a bridge that looks like Sydney's, but smaller. See the TV advert for Cathedral City (Mum's cheesey bake).
