IATW and armour saves

Do infantry anti-tank weapons (RPG, LAW 66 etc.) ignore armour saves? There's no mention of it in the IATW rules section but there is a reference to it in the rules on ERA and composite armour. Is that a hangover from 1st edition that should have been removed?

IATW are subject to saves.
