Stumbled across these two musicians on Youtube; Drumorg. They do covers of various things on Organ and drum set. They do a pretty good Popcorn (which I've always liked), and a few others. Surprising interesting takes on music we're all familiar with.

But one track has me stumped. Its called "Rhapsody(Arr. For organ and drums)"
It has four parts- The second is Vangelis' Conquest of Paradise theme, the third is Mission Impossible by Lalo Schrifrin, the fourth is Randy Edleman's MacGyver theme.

But the first is a mystery. 0.00-2.22.  It's very striking, sounds familar, like it should be really famous, but I have no idea. The following artists are listed-
Elias Niemelä, Maurizio de Angelis, Vangelis, Lalo Schifrin, Randy Edelman. Niemelä is the organist, the others are the composers so it must be Maurizio de Angelis.
Now Maurizio is better known as one half of the Italian group Oliver Onions, who I think were a big deal in Italy in the 70s and 80s. Before my time, but I am aware of them from some of the scores of (usually pretty bad) movies. I tried searching youtube, but they produced so much stuff it would take hours to sift. Music identifying widgets can't help as I think they look at and match sound waves so they's can't really recognise radically altered versions.

So, a long shot perhaps, but does anyone recognise this piece of music?

PS. The picture says "Entry of the Gladiators" which it is emphatically not. We all know that tune, even if we don't know it by name. Its one of the other tracks on the album and they just used the same picture for all tracks.

I'll do this later

It does sound familiar, but I have no idea. Interesting group though.
