Four games to add to the 2026 total.

First, two ACW games: The Battle of the Wilderness (1864).
Ran this twice as a participation game at Colours, using Dave's 10mm Pendraken armies.

Second, two Balkan Wars games: Driskos (1912).
A small battle that we were able to fight twice in an evening at the club.

WW1 aerial dogfight card game with 3 players. Cards represented mainly German, British and French pilots with a few pilots from smaller forces. Not exactly historical so much as hysterical!

For King and Parliament - Parliamentarians (Wright but Repulsive) get to 20 VP while Royalists (Wrong but Wromantic) still have 10.

Luckily the Swedish style Cavalry of the King were absolutely useless for a change.

Thanks to Speedy for tonight's game at Sunjester's. I was impressed at the deep historical accuracy of the game; While Galactica was absent, a Earth Colony Ship needed protecting from the Klingons by TIE fighters.

It didn't go well for two of us.

Photos soon, but a TIE fighter strike from a Victory Class Star Destroyer on a Klingon Vor'cha class cruiser that was trying to capture BSG Colonial 1, while being stalked by an ancient 's ship, sums up the fun and flexibility of these rules.

Played an "uprated" version of my FK&P Newtyle scenario this morning.....arrived at 10am to set up, left by 11:45! 

The Covenanter cavalry did not have a good day, one brigade being ridden over by the Gordon Horse in short order after managing to pull three 1's in a row out of the chit bag.

The lancers on the right managed to charge one unit of Highlanders in the flank and destroy it but then the Gordons activated enough times to capture the Covenanter camp.

The two Royalist players throughly enjoyed themselves and we all had a good laugh as there where a few occassions on both sides where things did not go quite as intended.

Mortal Gods: Mythic
Temple of Hera vs Remple of Zeus
Hard to get Medusa and her sisters right, especially when a cyclops and Zeus's thunderbolt welding Heroes are around. But Medusa left a suitable amount of new garden ornaments behind her and I snatched a win.
