You mention WWI Belgians on the blog, do you have photos of these?

I have some painted but not based, they aren't Pendraken. You can find the Germans here and the French here.

I do like your WWI troops - very nicely painted.

You ask about Kallistra figures - you may already have got an answer - but if not; My opponent has Kallistra early war Germans, and they are bigger than MM or Pendraken figures. You wouldn't want them in the same force, but as an enemy force they work fine against my MM French or Pendraken British.

Thanks Fred! Not too go too far off on a tangent, but I agree with your assessment on the scale comparisons. I ended up ordering some to see:

More information here.

I hope to be more active on my blog, I have quite a bit more that I've painted and need to actually photograph and post.

Very nice.

When I did my Austrians I wasn't happy with the officer figure in the Casquet. Consequently, I got some of the officer figures from the artillery sets in the 1809 range.  These come with large bicornes and are wearing the Frockcoat over their white uniform coats. I felt that these looked more how I imagined the Austrians to look.

Interesting photo. As you note the kneeling MM guy is huge. I do think the Pendraken dragoons are pretty slight, even compared to other Pendraken

And then horses are another matter again - with MM horses generally being pretty small.

Fortunately once on the table in a game it all blends much better!

That's an excellent idea and I will steal that from you if you don't mind  :D . I like the officer in Casquet but I always like to mix up some figures for diversity's sake.

I wonder if you could use some of the 1809 Saxons for Prussians? I always thought that was one of the coolest looking armies of the revolutionary period.
