We've had a chap contact us from Shropshire Museums.  They're building a model of Shrewsbury bridge, circa 1732, and want some figures to put on it.  Would WSS or SYW British troops be the best ones for this?  We've had a quick Google, but I know we've got some members with a wealth of knowledge in this area, so thought this might be a good place to ask!

Any help/advice would be great!

We're thinking more WSS troops at the moment, I'm just browsing for some pics to send them.

My understanding is that War Austrian Succession (1740â€"48) is when the uniforms changed, and that the early part was WSS style uniforms, the later part more SYW.  I would double check that though - otherwise you could use WSS
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.
