My first wargame event of 2021 (and most of 2020). Today I visited the Cotswold Wargaming Day, which is akin to a club open day, so there are game tables, but no traders and it was really enjoyable to be able to just focus on a few games being played.

There was a real friendly vibe to the event and it was just lovely to be doing something like this again.

I have put some photo's up on the blog. LINK

Norm, if you are still in Oxford on Monday evening, make the birthday celebrations complete by visiting OWS!

Thanks Steve, very much enjoyed the event and nice to meet you.

Thanks Chris, Monday evening already accounted for, but we are loving your city and will be returning, so I can build a visit in for the OWS  on the next treat :-)

They play wargames at the Other Place? Well, well....

Y'all come back now real soon, ya hear? (He said, in his best Oxford accent.) You're always welcome (as is anyone else in this forum) and most likely there will be a multi-player game you can join.

I have done my best to civilise it.

@ Kiwidave. I'll try and publicise it more next year closer to the date if that helps?

Looks like a lot of fun was had by all, apart from Norm's understanding wife ;)

I hope she enjoyed the rest of her birthday :)

Great to see these get-togethers picking up again.
Green shoots of recovery etc etc.

Long may it continue.
