It's dark when I go to sleep and light when I get up most of the year .... rest of the year it's light going to bed and getting up.

To be fair, not everyone has the luxury of going to bed between two and four in the morning and getting up between ten and midday.

First two regiments based up - Lord Blayney's and Lord Clanboye's Anglo-Irish pike and shot regiments were part of Monro's combined Scots/Anglo-Irish force at Benburb.

Just need to finish flocking the bases and colour the edges of the flags.

Supposed to be good here for the next few days so I will try and take a few pics once the units are completed.

That was quick work :)

All the hard work has already been done....figures painted and labels/flags/bases previously prepared.....just got to put everything together.

I'm bringing back all your plastic bags tomorrow ready for the next lot.

Spare match!? Holy St. Barbara, I'm lucky to see the musket.   :o  :-bd  :)

 ;D ;D ;D

I may have misinterpreted what it is but some of the muskteer figures have what I'm painting as a bundle of spare match hanging from their belts at their right hip

I suppose some pictures to help illustrate the figures in question would be useful?

Oh OK then  :)

The first two Anglo-Irish Regiments for Benburb - Lord Claneboye's and Lord Blayney's Regiments of Foot. In FK&P terms these are shot heavy musket and pike battalia counting as seasoned (average) units for morale purposes:

One angle of the shot figures in question:

And another:

And as their Irish Confederate opponents see them:

I took these before I coloured the edges the flags before anyone says anything.

Thanks as always to Paul R for painting these for me.....

You should be able to spot the spare match on the second & third figures in on the rear rank, painted ivory by the butt of the musket

Yes not too bad  ;)

My cellphone camera seems to really highlight the flock for some reason.....and my little Epson inkjet decided to print what started out as red labels as more of a red brown hue but I have lived with that since the start of our various W3K projects so no harm done.

The extra ships arrived for the Malay Barrier campaign so I will give you lot on Saturday.....the Indy is there this time!
