I started watching this (presumably old) series last night as I'd never seen it before.  The first episode looks at the German-Soviet non-aggression pact and aftermath prior to the invasion of Poland. Lots of reconstructed scenes, which I'm not normally a fan of, but these worked well. Also interviews with participants and good footage from the time, most of which I've not seen. Worth checking out IMHO.

2008. Assuming it is the one I am remembering I thought it excellent; I must look at it again.
