Took a break from my work on the Spanish Civil War to play a game of "It's Getting A Bit Chile" via Zoom with players in Northamptonshire, Cornwall and Washington State. https://wargaming4grownups.blogspot.com/2021/03/a-short-break-in-bolivia.html.

.

The game was played in 15mm, but only because I built my armies before Leon released his excellent 10mm range, which works equally well with the rules!

Good to see this war being given a bit of exposure. Apparently it is possible to adjust the size of photos when posting, although I am no expert and struggle with this kind of thing myself.

It's using the img tag and puting a number in - round about 150.

I couldn't adjust the size of the picture - at least I couldn't work out how to do it. I'll go in and try to edit it.

I just amended the link to a smaller picture.

It was good to get back to this conflict. It deserves a lot more exposure. The sources are good, there are a couple of good figure ranges, it's important, and, well, I wrote rules for it.

Very nice looking game Trebian

Your terrain certainly captures the feel of the region really well  :)

Glad all the Llamas survived OK  ;)

Thanks. I like the clean simplicity of it. And the llamas.

I find painting the base board the same colour as the figure bases quite effective.

Great report

Tnanks. Glad you enjoyed it. Hope it encourages you to buy loads of Leons excellent figures.

And my rules, of course (which include flags and a uniform guide and a brief history of the war. Everything you need to get started).

Tempting, very tempting
As Oscar said "The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it".

Buy the rules, then make up your mind  ;)

Haha, it's on the wish list. Moving house shortly then once I see how many pennies I have to rub together I've a few new hobby projects on the list. Considering starting something 19th century and South America is certainly in the running...  ;)

Interesting to see a different war getting some exposure :)

Thanks. That's a useful tip. I couldn't make it work. Putting the tag in the wrong place.

I'll stick to Writing rules, not coding.

Some of the South American wars are excellent subjects. The armies look great and they are manageable in size, compared to European and North American conflicts.
