So sad when it's somebody so young.

Breast Cancer takes so many Females... sometimes younger than 39. I have known several. BUT... NOT always a death sentence for those who find lumps.
My Mother had a single mastectomy for a malign at 44. Fine for 20 years... was going to stop check ups... then another found. She is now 88. (Sadly, other health issues have grown)
Think most females 'aware'... but some go into 'denial', and put things off until too late.  :(

Many moons ago now, a male colleague of mine developed breast cancer in his mid-forties. Apparently it is rare in men and tends to affect over-60s but it is not just something that affects women.

Men have a small amount of breast tissue behind the nipples. Lumps in that area should be checked rather than ignored, whatever your sex, gender or orientation!

Another one taken far too young :(.

I had an inflamed nipple area earlier in the year and went for a check just in case. The doctor checked for breast cancer just in case, but luckily it was just an inflammation. My wife has had some cysts checked at the local breast clinic and each time there have been a few men in there on their own, so more common than most people realise.

Definitely too young. :(

Incredibly sad and what dedication from his wife as you say Phil. But I also feel some anger that the hospital never apologised and that the staff involved got off so lightly.

Yes quite true.

If I had been the one in the coma though, I would have wanted them to turn the life support off years ago

A sad loss for sure. I used to see him jogging around the outskirts of Cambridge when I was as CCAT prior to going to Uni.

Awww.  :(

How many C5s did folk spot ?
I believe I saw two around Guildford, at the time
(Obviously it could have been the same one twice.)

Pretty sure my very first calculator was a Sinclair. Just had a gander at some piccies, and one looked VERY familiar.

Cheers - Phil.
