Part 2 of the Burnside Bridge game is up. This post converts the boardgame action into a scenario that is ready for the figures table.

Thanks for a nicely detailed account of how you've transfered the board game to the table Norm. This should certainly make for an interesting battle and one that you would not normally see played, but then that's the beauty of the approach you're taking.

Norm

Thanks Steve, at least it is in a format that is comfortable with your own experiences of BP / GH. The few times that I have done this sort of thing, I have been left. With the feeling that I probably wouldn't create such a scenario, whilst at the same time feeling it has some credibility as a creation as it has fallen out of game narrative .... sort of almost real :-)

Interesting to see how you have emphasised the key points of the situation to create the scenario :-\

Part 3 (and final post) on the Burnside Bridge action.

Will the Union be able to eject the Confederates from the high ground that dominates the bridge?

Excellent set up and AAR Norm 8). Union tardiness cost them the battle I think, but the Rebs put up a tough fight for sure.

Norm

Thanks Steve, I think this scenario has quite a bit of scope for a re-run, with possibly quite a different result.
