Hello
I've bought trees (some years ago) and I liked them.
I've not been able to find trees on the site. Discontinued ?
( I'm looking for ~ 20 mm and ~ 70 to 90mm trees )

thank you

Leon

We stopped selling the trees many years ago now, as it was a lot cheaper for people to buy from eBay directly.  There are a lot of options available from China (if they are shipping currently).
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

Personally, I dislike "woods" made up of single trees on a wargames table and, especially in 6 and 10mm, use woods with a "canopy" of foliage like those supplied by GS Miniatures (https://gsminipaint.wixsite.com/gsminiature-workshop) or Terrainshed (https://terrainshed.co.uk/), etc.

see http://les1940.blogspot.com/2017/11/for a better explanation than I could give.

K and M do a fairly good selection of sizes , colours and options. Not the cheapest choice I think you get packs of 12 for about a tenner. Been using these for years IMHO good quality and  they look very good on the wargames table ,but each to his own.

China seems to be very popular as a source of wargaming trees, based upon what I've seen on Facebook of late. I make my own from railway scenic trees I bought years ago, but then I enjoy scratch building terrain etc :).

Thank you Leon.

Scorpio, yes one of my friends do these canopies, but  it's difficult to get the good shape for every game.

Orcs and Monkeynut, thank you.  I will search for an alternative choice : I want many trees. Lots off..

Steve, I also like home made decors, but I won't have time to do them.

So I may order trees from China (but I'm worried about the carbon footprint  :(  )  Here in France I only found very costly trees.

Thank you all  :)
Have good games and take care !

It's a good point, our modern impression of a wood owes a lot to Jungle (Attenborough) or managed woodlands.
These tend to be quite dense.
Individual trees fail to capture that look, in the way that individual figures, fail to capture a roman tortoise or Napoleonic square.

Individual trees do a batter job of depicting woodland margins, and orchards - think of them as the skirmishers of the arboreal world.

Hi, I get all my trees from The Model Tree Shop.  You can them in a variety of sizes.  I use their plastic trees in 50-55mm.  They do a lot more besides trees.

I've bought my trees in bulk from China recently, via EBay. 75mm high cherry trees at £7.99, inc postage, for 20 was the latest batch. Hopefully they don't include spyware :)

I've bought a load of trees from China a couple of years ago - before that I did have a fair number of Minibits ones that Leon was selling.

I'd say the Minibits ones are better quality but the Chinese ones are very cheap for getting a bulk of trees together.
