How big a base does SYW10 carriage need? What if only 2 horses?
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Mine is on an 80x30mm base, which gives about 5 mm spare front and back and a little more at each side (width of model is about 15-16mm).

If you took off the front pair of horses, it would fit on a 60mm base.

It'll go on a 60x40 with just the two horses.

I mounted my extra horses on a 40x20 to put up front if required.
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

Looks liek you've got a fair bit of width - I'm looking at a 60x30 base.

I was just going to take a photo with a 30mm width base so you could see the space when I discovered I'd actually based it on a 60x30mm one (with 20mm extension)!  :-[

Were 7 years war limber horses in pairs or in single file? or did it depend upon nation?
