Today dawned fine and I had many domestic duties to do :!!

My wife decided we should go out for lunch :)

We had to pop home and get changed before heading out to do some more jobs :!!

I managed to grab 20 minutes while we were home, conveniently when the sun was at an appropriate angle to provide lighting for some photographs #:-S

Firstly many thanks to Pierre the Shy who assisted with the research of the particularly appropriate personalities and the banners for this army :-bd

IV/16 Scots Common

1x Norman-Scots nobles (Knight/Pike), 1x General (Knight/Pike)
Domhnall (Donald) MacDonald of Islay, Lord of the Isles and Alexander Stewart, Earl of Mar. They commanded the opposing sides at the Battle of Harlaw, 1411

5x yeomen (Pike)

1x feudal archers (Mounted Bow or Bow) , 1x French (Knight) Sieur Gilbert Motier de Lafayette, Marshal of France
Sieur Gilbert's motto is perfect for a wargamer, "Cur non?" (Why not?) and he was a fore-father of Marquis de Lafayette who commands some of my AWI Americans.

1x hobilars (Cavalry) , 1x Islesmen (Blade) , 1x yeomen (Pike)

[

2x Galwegians (Warband), 2x yeomen (Pike)

1x Highland archer (Bow), 1x "small folk" (Horde) , 1x Highland rabble (Horde)

I've noticed I missed the edges of the blue quadrants of a couple of the flags :-[ :-[ :-[

Also one of the black banners needs another coat of brush varnish on one side as do a few labels :!!

Super stuff, as always!

I am amazed/ horrified at your output rate. Mine is glacial by comparison.

Absolutely stunning.  The housing detail on the general is unbelievable.  I couldn't do that on a 28!
And nice to see (at least some of the) Scots turned out  properly armed .

Lovely work Paul.  =D>
Outstanding work on the flags. My complements to you and Peter. As Harlaw fits into my very narrow interests nice to see its mention (along with the Graham flags as well).
