Thanks for the recommendation for "Sepoy": I have tried to order a copy from Caliver Books who used to publish and wait to see what will happen as they are no longer listed.

That is kind of you but looking at how many books I have on the Mutiny I think I had better stick: I don't think I could cope with all of the figures I would need for the Peninsula War although it is very tempting unless there is to be a long delay in supplying the Mutiny figures.   There is just far too much temptation!

If not then you might try TREBIAN at the blog WARGAMING FOR GROWN-UPS, I think he was the author.  [Note that I am suggesting them rather than recommending them as I have never played them but they seemed to have been well thought of at the time!]

Hi,

Mike Petro from Long Island NY here. I am building a Peninsular force and would like to pledge 100£ to the good fight. Curious about the two different Spanish 1805 infantry codes.

Currently not sure what I want exactly, but I shop here often( have an order in right now actually) and wanted to make the pledge. Do we have an approximate release timeframe? 2020 Christmas?

Cheers,

Mike

I think thats £54

Thanks for that!

You did know there was such a thing as a Samurai Napoleonic army, right? It just never fought anybody, other than a brief encounter with the RN in 1808. I do have an army list somewhere.....

Hi Mike,  The Pattern 1805 c1807 represent the infantry at the start of the war, properly uniformed and accoutred as per the regulations.  The Pattern 1805 c1809-1810 represent the army after a year of campaigning and repeated defeats, they are in every sense, 'distressed'.
