Hi, I would like to share some pics after a lot of time without posting. I used Photobucket in the past, but it gives some "watermark problems". Can you recommend a good webpage to storage pics you use?

Thanks

pierre the shy

Flickr.com is quite good - free and up to 1000 pictures can be stored there. You need to register but never had any issues with it.

I use it for photos that I post on this forum.

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Also using Flickr here, has to be amongst the best nowadays!

That's what I'll go to, then.

Having had the problems with the watermark, AND the fact that photobucket keep bombarding me with 'mails about upgrading.....Peasants !  ;)

Cheers - Phil.

(Though this will mean I'll have to relearn how to shrink the pics size down.  ;D ;D ;D)

Flickr will automatically resize your pictures for forum posting and also generates a nifty link!

I've had the same question, as I think whilst in this lockdown mode sharing pics of progress is a bit of a morale booster.
Flickr it is then, I'll give it a go, thanks

Indeed, congratulations Major!

Thanks for the answers, I'll then use Flickr.

Mark, congratulations Sir!  :)

A little late to the party, but I've been using Imgur with some success. Doesn't seem to have any limits and can easily upload from my phone to the gallary for use. Allows BBCodes etc too. Though to be honest I suspect they're all much of a muchness. Will have to try Flikr sometime and see how it stacks up.

P.S. Congrats Major!

My plan is to start using Imgur once I hit the Flickr limits ;)

I host my best images on my blog (blogspot) so I can include a few words with each picture. It is then easy for others to peruse them.

My photo storage is on my local Tera-Byte hard disc for safety. It is almost full.
