Good luck with the storm, Gang !

Never be surprised if we didn't get power cuts here, at the very least.
It's eerily still outside....At the mo'. :-SS
I'm planning on popping down to the village, early this morning, for a few bits and pieces.....Then it's back home, and batten down the hatches.
(If it's THAT bad tomorrow. I might not even bother to go and get a paper.) ;)

Cheers - Phil

;D ;D ;D

I've only got to do the ears, and the 'feet' on the last one (of the three*) now, Alexander...and then they can all go up to Leon for moulding...then I can have some copies back to convert. :)

The 'problem' I have with the corona virus is.......The first time I read a headline about it, I read it as coroner..a rather unfortunate 'mis-read'.......And I can't get that original 'pronunciation' out of my head !!  ~X(

I'll keep my head down, Graham !  :)

WHO is Ciara.......I don't think we're expecting her round here tomorrow.  ;)

Cheers - Phil.

* The last of the three, being the standing upright pose, who fortunately doesn't resemble Bungle as much as he did originally. X_X

I guess (hope) she will have lost a lot of her power by the time she gets to my place in the Netherlands near the German border. I need to paint models dammit; not fixing the shed!

I heard that it is likely the South East and East will now get the strongest winds over the next few days. For us it's likely to be around the 50mph mark, which is pretty strong.

I think that the West of Scotland are going to have TWO goes.

Let's hope that 'they' are 'over egging' the warnings........They always seem to ere on the side of bad news, ever since that nice Mr Fish did his classic...."There IS no hurricane due." ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers - Phil. (Hoping that this will be another damp squib !)

I think that technically he was absolutely correct. IIRC my meteorology, a hurricane is a storm centered on high pressure, and the winds blow in a clockwise direction. What we had in . . . 1987, was it? . . . (and what we always get here in the UK) was a storm centered around a low pressure area, and winds going counter-clockwise..

We may have had hurricane-strength winds, but it wasn't a hurricane! Not that you care much either way if your roof has blown off . . .

Not by a lot, Ian.  ;D......West to East.

But the way the weather comes 'up' from the jet stream......I'll let you off.   ;)

And what IS this non event's name ?....It seems to be morphing all the time......It started off with L (Lima) as the second letter...and now it seems to be I (India).....
Gotta go.....More dog puke to clean up. X_X...I lead such an exciting life.
