What was, is or will be your first Wargame of 2011?

This afternoon I ploughed through a 1000 points a side FoG 100Years War which the English narrowly won without the use of any stakes. Not much fun playing solo, but still the first game of the year safely tucked under the belt

A couple of introductory games of BCKII with one of the guys at the club. Got soundly beat but still had fun with Soviets vs Finns .

Probably a solo game of some rules I'm working on. The wife will be out of town in a couple of weeks so I'll have some free time. It's either test the rules or paint AWI.

Probably be a large Pirate game which was postponed from December due to the poor weather.

First RPG was on New Years Day run by my son (and the second was last night ...).  The first real wargame is tba but may be this coming weekend, even if it ends up being solo.

I've got a game organised for our club night on Sat, BKC, my Brits vs Italians in the desert. Looking forward to it as I've never played against the Italiens much and actually not used my 8th Army figs much either.

I'm  itching to have a game of Die Kriegskunst with my SYW Prussians and Austrians though, but this would have to be a solo affair. I think th epressure might get to me before Sat and I'll break....must play now!

Had holiday until yesterday, so this year we already played a series of cool Flying Lead Sci Fi skirmishes in an ongoing campaign between the evil Spugs and the brave Shocktroopers defending their forts.  Today I start working again (as you can see ) so the gaming frequency will once again diminish

Well I dont know if it qualifies as a "wargame" but it was pretty bloody!  My son and I played Blood Bowl and his team won and punched my team around the pitch
