Thought I would share pics of a game of GdA I had yesterday- it includes everything from pendraken I have managed to paint so far (12months- I wish I could paint faster!)
So the French carried the day and I had a great time with the ruleset:
2 British Brigades (4 and 3 battalions)
1 Brunswick Brigade (3 battalions)
Mixed Cav/Artillery Brigade (1 heavy cav regiment and one battery of RHA)
3 French Brigades (12 battalions/ recruits in greatcoats/1 foot Artillery battery joined one brigade)
1 French Light Cav Brigade (1 regiment of lancers 1 regiment of chausseurs)
Hope you like the pics - I still have the greys to paint to give the Brits a full cavalry brigade, Brunswick cav to add to the infantry brigade (the only mixed brigade I will be creating) plus limbers, another French infantry brigade and two more artillery battery for either side. . . Then I can buy some Dutch/Belgians!

Terrific looking battlefield and beautifully painted armies. Lovely work, and on top of all that the first time I've seen 'so' as a written statement starter.

Very nice, I have been back to your link three times for some inspiration on formation size / basing and unit density etc.

Cheers! Don't know if you worked it out but this is what I use-
25x20mm bases for everything but Artillery.
Infantry 2ranks of 3 figs per base, 4bases per battalion
Skirmishers 3 figs per base
Cavalry 3 figs per base - 3bases per squadron, 3 squadrons per regiment. (I actually think this is oversized but like the look that it lends to the table, my average inf Brigade is 16bases where as a cav Brigade is 18bases, it is probably more appropriate to drop down to two squadrons per regiment = 12 bases.)
Artillery is a square 50mm per gun and 4 crew.
I think I will go with circular bases for Divisional and Brigade command stands, ADC etc. I will work out the size when Ibget to model them.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone
