Guys

There seem to be options for infantry standards out there, like pendrakens own flag sheets, for Marlburian infantry.

But what do you guys do for cavalry, as I can't find any 10mm Marlburian cavalry flag sheets online.

Perhaps I'm being a bit ignorant, did they use the same sort of pattern as infantry?

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I don't generally use flags, although I know they are very colorful for this period. But if I did need them I would find what I wanted via a Google search/images, save he picture, scale it down and print it off.

There are quite a few here.

and some here

Hope this helps

PS - When I do use a flag I have started getting mine from a fellow down in Alabama who makes some really nice stuff, in 28 MM and 15 MM. I got the flags I'll be using for my Muscovite army from him and will do the same for my Polish and Renaissance armies

Try Maverick Models. They have flags for most nations in WSS. The do not list 10mm but will resize on request.

What I did was research who the regiment's proprietor was, look up his coat of arms and used the armorial crest on a field of the principal hue which is usually the shield ground colour.

I second Maverick Models Flags. Stu is very helpful. All you need to do when ordering is state the flag depth you want and he will resize.

Thanks guys, most helpful.

I think I'll need a lot of options for flags as I'm sending off a rather large painting order.

Project SYW is a good source for French flags:

Most have the 'sun king' motif on one side and the colonel's arms on the other or the 'sun king' on both sides.

The same people are trying to get a WSS site off the ground:

Another vote for Maverick Models.   Some very nice flags and
happy to re-size to suite.

They were also happy to print some of my own designs (I just
emailed soft copies).   My printer is nowhere near good enough
for the colour and detail needed.

Great Company.

Howdy,

For my WSS French I used the Pendraken  LOA Cavalry flags as it was only a few years before WSS so a lot of flags would have stayed the same. I think they d have Dutch in the same range
