Not the real life ones, silly.

What are the dimensions of the Carthaginian elephant (any of them)? Will one fit on a 40mm square base with some room at the back for a label? How about with a couple of skirmishers hanging around it too? Anyone have any photos of based elephants as examples?

Will's beaten me to it, but here are some photos of mine - still a work in progress!

30x40mm bases so there's plenty of room for skirmishers on a 40x40mm base and it depends how big your labels are!

That depends on how much space I have! :D

Looks like they'll be fine though, thanks for that (and nice nellies).

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

African or European?  :-/

Was this a Monty Python and the Holy Grail Swallow reference, or have I totally lost it?

I assumed it was mollinary since a historical version would be "African or Indian".

What IS the airspeed of an unladen Carthaginian War Elephant anyway? ;)

Did you ever have it to start with?

I was wondering about airspeed when I posted.

I dont recall ever having it, which might explain my uncertainty as to whether I have actually lost it.  Regarding airspeed, I was reminded of another MP sketch "They don't so much fly, as plummet!  :D :D :D
