Some of Pierre the Shy's commanders have the preacher figure 'inspiring' them, indeed a very attractive figure

Pierre the Shy has been delayed in delivering the last of the pike for the next 3 units

Instead I'll paint 16 extra cuirassier figures so he can flesh out his two cuirassier units

I've got a bit of spare room on my painting rods so I'll also do a unit of English Dragoons I didn't need to get done for Cheriton and I've dug out 8 spare officers as I'll need more colonels for First Newbury

Back from moving my mother into a 24/7 care facility as she could not cope on her own any longer. She's happy enough but what a lot of work for me and my brother to "downsize" her stuff...glad thats sorted out...a sad but necessary task 😕

I have a couple of batches to base up now and will deliver the final batch of pike and shot to Paul this weekend.

I hated the idea of my mum's moving into a retirement village, until I saw it and realised how much more comfortable she was with fortifications, quick-response medical attention, and a flat that she hadn't bought to accommodate a four-person family and now occupied and tried to maintain alone. Now I'm very glad she's there.

Are those on your Father In Law ?

Seriously though..... Von's Mum didn't fancy going 'into a home', at all....And for the first few days she was there she was very agitated....and fell over three times in the first couple of days.

She's as happy as a pig in poo now......Constant 'supervision'..help 'on tap'.... and folk to interact with.
