First 3 Covenanter Pike & Musket units for Dunbar completed.....pretty pleased with how they turned out in the end, especially the flags which took a lot of faffing around with in MS Paint.  The figures are all from Lancer Miniatures   The pikes are all originally 30mm dressmaking pins that I found in a local craft shop.

I completed the bases, labels and flags for Sir George Preston of Valleyfield's, Sir John Haldane of Gleneagles' and Colonel John Forbes of Leslie's regiments prior to picking up the next 3 completed regiments today.

After talking with Paul about how I would like the highlanders done we decided now I have a fairly good chunk of Covenanters to shift to a FK&P game for the upcoming annual Wellington convention rather than do a WW2 Spearhead game.....its time for these boys to face down Cromwell's veterans "somewhere near Edinburgh" in a fictional game set in the days just before Dunbar.

That should leave me plenty of time to look at the bring and buy and any traders who are there this year
